What the registry can show
Use this page to understand the trust boundary of Electronic Registry.
What Electronic Registry can show
- A public registry record exists.
- When it was created.
- Which exact file hash or Public Reference entry was involved.
- Whether related entries were added later.
What Electronic Registry does not decide
- Truth
- Ownership
- Authorship
- Originality
- Exclusivity
- Legality
- Compliance
- Certification
- Platform approval
- Official approval
Public Reference
Public Reference means a public reference was attached to a file that was already recorded in the registry. It does not convert the registry into an ownership, authorship, platform identity, or official-source system.
